Prepared for use, or for assembly.

An additional process to prepare your parts for use or assembly. Finishing sits after cutting, bending, and fabrication, so the part is ready for whatever you do with it next.

The finish

Finishing is the extra work that takes a made part and prepares it. That might be edges cleaned up for handling, or a surface made ready for assembly or for powder coating. Tell us what “done” looks like for your part, rather than a vague “finish it”.

01

After the making. For parts that are already cut, formed, or fabricated.

02

Say what ready means. Safe to handle, ready to assemble, or ready for a coating.

03

Before colour. If you also want powder coating, finishing is the step that gets the surface there.

Questions

What does metal finishing cover?

Preparing a made part for use: edges cleaned up for safe handling, or surfaces made ready for assembly or for powder coating.

How do I describe the finish I need?

Tell us what happens to the part next — handled, assembled, or coated — and call out any edges, faces, or weld areas that can't stay as-cut.

Can you finish parts you didn't make?

Yes. Say whether we are making the part too, or only finishing pieces you supply. A photo of a sample helps.

Is powder coating part of finishing?

Powder coating is its own service. Finishing is the step that gets the surface ready for it, and you can quote both on the same request.

The other services

Cutting, bending, fabrication, finishing, and powder coating can be one order.
